Overview
A Player Support agent may ask you for a DxDiag report when you’re troubleshooting crashes, performance issues, or launch problems on PC. DxDiag is a built-in Windows tool that creates a text file with hardware and driver details.
If you’re checking whether your PC meets the minimum specs, see: 007 First Light PC System Requirements

Before you start
- •Platform: Windows PC
- •File type: .txt
Steps
- Open the Start menu (or press the Windows key).
- Type dxdiag and open DxDiag.
- If prompted, select Yes to let DxDiag check for digitally signed drivers.
- Select Save All Information…
- Choose a location you can easily find (for example, your Desktop) and save the file.
You’ll get a file named something like DxDiag.txt. Attach that file when replying to your Support ticket.
Tip: If you don’t see the file right away, sort the folder by Date modified.
What’s in a DxDiag report (and is it safe to send?)
A DxDiag report typically includes:
- •Windows and system details (device model, BIOS, memory)
- •Graphics and audio devices
- •Driver versions and DirectX information
- •Connected device entries (for example, USB controllers/devices)
Note: The report does not include passwords or payment details. It may include your PC name and drive names. If you prefer, open the .txt file and remove anything you don’t want to share before sending it.
